Mayhew Environmental Training Associates, Inc. (META); formed in 1985 and incorporated in 1987 in response to the demand for trained individuals to serve the growing asbestos abatement industry. Since then, we have grown our curriculum to address a number of occupational safety and health issues. META currently offers on-site training and certification in a number of environmental remediation disciplines including: Asbestos Abatement, Lead Abatement, Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT), and Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER). We have recently developed a course on Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) in response to the terrorist attacks on September 11th, mold remediation courses to address increasing indoor air quality issues and driver safety training courses to counter skyrocketing insurance premiums. For more than fifteen years, META has provided nation-wide expert training in environmental remediation and occupational safety. We will continue to develop curriculum based on national need and current environmental issues.
